Refund & Cancellation Policy

At DepthFocus, we understand that plans can change. This policy is designed to be fair to both our clients and our team, while protecting the time and preparation that goes into every booking.

1. Deposits & Booking Confirmation
A non refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure all bookings.
Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
This deposit covers preparation, scheduling, and loss of other potential work.

2. Client Cancellations
More than 14 days before the shoot
No further payment is required. The 25% deposit remains non refundable.
7–14 days before the shoot
50% of the remaining balance is payable.
Less than 7 days before the shoot
100% of the total booking fee is payable. This is due to the short notice and the difficulty of filling the slot.
3. Rescheduling
More than 7 days notice
The 25% deposit can be transferred to a new agreed date.
Less than 7 days notice
Rescheduling is at our discretion and may require an additional fee depending on availability.
4. Photographer Cancellation
If DepthFocus is unable to attend due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control, we will offer
A replacement photographer where possible
Or a 100% refund, including the deposit, if a replacement cannot be arranged
5. Late Arrivals
If a client arrives late, the session may be shortened to avoid impacting other bookings.
100% of the agreed fee will still apply.
6. Weather & External Factors
For outdoor shoots, we will always try to adapt to weather conditions. If a shoot needs to be postponed due to unsafe or unsuitable weather, we will reschedule at no additional cost.
7. Refunds on Delivered Work
Due to the creative nature of photography and videography, refunds are not offered once work has been delivered. We will always work with clients to address any concerns and ensure expectations are met.
8. Communication
Early communication allows us to find the best solution. We encourage clients to notify us of any changes as soon as possible.
